The Suffering is a 2004 first and third-person shooter psychological horror video game, developed by Surreal Software for PlayStation 2, Xbox and Microsoft Windows. The game was published by Midway Games for PlayStation and Xbox. In 2005, a sequel was released, The Suffering: Ties That Bind.
